SHELL is attempting to set a Guinness World Record for the largest fuel efficiency training lesson at its Global Shell FuelSave Day event this Saturday (Oct 15) at the 1 Utama shopping centre in Bandar Utama.
The session, which will take place simultaneously in 10 cities across Asia and Europe, is designed to give drivers the opportunity to learn ways to save fuel and cut their driving costs.
Shell Malaysia has lined up an array of local artistes who will headline the Global Shell FuelSave Day celebrations.
Among them are pop and R&B singer Ning Baizura, 2006 One in a Million winner Suki Low; independent rock band Freeloaders, percussion ensemble of Diplomat of Drums and pop rock band Rosevelt.

FuelSave ambassador for the third consecutive year and TV host-actor-model Fahrin Ahmad will also be on site to encourage drivers to practise fuel-savvy driving styles.
The event will also see the finale of the 2011 Shell FuelSave Challenge in which the winners of the regional FuelSave Challenge will vie for the grand prize of RM50,000.
